We oversee planning applications across all sectors, often in sensitive locations. We prepare accurate and clearly understood planning documents to underpin pre-application discussions with Parish and Ward Councillors as well as Council Officers. We undertake:

Our planning team work on a wide range of projects, recent examples include

Housing and Mixed Use

Leading the mixed use re-development of a 20 acre brownfield site within the greenbelt close to Liverpool we are also negotiating the delivery of a new Country Park together with 300 homes to enable in Kent.

Education

In the education sector we have negotiated planning for a school re-location through enabling residential development and obtained planning consent for the conversion of a former Malthouse to create a substantial new school performing arts and sports facility.

Retail

In the retail sector we have obtained planning consent for a mixed use sites including Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores.

Private Houses

For our private clients we have secured consent for a series of private houses including a substantial replacement dwelling with a construction value of c£2m in the Green Belt. We have obtained planning for rear garden development in Conservation Areas and won appeals for replacement dwellings where previous attempts have failed.

Rural Properties

For our rural clients we have successfully delivered planning consents for the conversion of farm buildings to holiday cottages, secured Certificates of Lawful Use for a variety of commercial activities in farm buildings and been successful in lifting agricultural occupancy conditions.

Commercial Property

Working on commercial property we have obtained planning approval for the conversion of commercial premises into apartments and obtained approval for two large office blocks in a sensitive lakeside setting outside the identified built boundary.
